Is your Standards Check due?
The approved driving instructor (ADI) Standards Check assesses your ability to teach pupils to drive.
If your Standards Check is coming up and you are feeling apprehensive, why not call us and arrange training with our Grade-A, DVSA ORDIT
registered instructor who will be happy to help you prepare for your test.
The Standards Check is graded in three categories
Grade A.
This is the highest pass level of instruction. You must achieve a minimum of 43 out of 51 marks in order to be considered a Grade A Instructor.
Grade B.
To maintain your Instructors Badge, you must achieve at least a Grade B in your test. You will need to score between 31- 42 marks to pass.
Grade F.
This represents a failed test. The marks for a fail is between 0-30.
You are only allowed three attempts at your Standards Check or your ADI badge will be revoked.
The ADI Nation Joint Council report that approximately 1 in 6 Driving Instructors are failing the Standards Check- don't let this be you!
